They act to maintain normal muscle and immune functions, which is particularly important for hard working horses. Useful as an aid for fertility and breeding stock health, feeding extra Vitamin E and Selenium to pregnant mares has been shown to promote foal health via the positive effects on the mare's colostrum and milk, supporting levels of the substances in colostrum that are vital for foal immune function, and these nutrients and can aid sperm quality of stallions. VitaSel-E is also ideal for horses and ponies grazing on areas with Selenium deficient soil, containing safe levels of Selenium and Vitamin E.
