THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Symptomatic therapy of lameness, acute and chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as arthritis, periarthritis, tendinitis, tenovaginitis, neuritis, myositis, podophlemmatitis, naviculitis, intervertebral endochondrosis. Treatment of soft tissue injuries such as bursitis, mastitis, hematomas, bruises, lacerations from birth. Surgical interventions, treatment of inflammatory conditions of the breast and post partum breast edema.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Intravenous administration. In acute inflammatory lesions of the musculoskeletal system and following surgery, administer 15-25 ml per day by slow intravenous route, equal to 6 - 10 mg / kg bw of phenylbutazone (as sodium salt). In chronic inflammatory lesions of the musculoskeletal system, administer 10 ml per day intravenously, equal to 4 mg / kg bw per day of phenylbutazone (as sodium salt). Administer intravenously slowly.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in case of heart, kidney, liver disease, gastritis, hemoglobinuria, edema and bleeding disorders. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Do not use concomitantly with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or allow at least 24 hours to elapse before administration of another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory.
